This Home currently has one vacancy.

This home has been established to provide care for up to nine individuals with a learning disability who may also have a physical disability.

Pendeen is situated on the ground floor of a Plymouth City housing project set in a residential area with a patio and garden to the rear of the building.  It is located in the Plymouth suburb of Southway, close to shops, services and public transport routes, the City of Plymouth, the coast and moors.

The accommodation is arranged on one floor and comprises nine bedrooms, kitchen, dining room with an attached conservatory, lounge and specifically designed bathrooms and toilets.

All areas are accessible by wheelchair.  The bedrooms are all adapted, taking into account the Service Users’ specific needs and are decorated to their individual tastes.  Specialist equipment is provided to meet the specific needs of the Service Users including profiling beds, hoists and specialist bathroom equipment including a hydro spa bath.

An adapted vehicle is provided to enable Service Users to access local, regional and nationwide recreational and leisure activities.

Those for whom we provide a service have the opportunity to participate in their own, unique, Person Centred Plan which takes into account their abilities, needs, preferences, interests, aspirations and life-style choices.
