Deputy Team Manager - Tamar

Supported Living

I am Deputy Manager for Supported Living Service – Tamar which supports Individuals to live Independently in their own homes. I am passionate about ensuring those we support are given the skills to live as independently as possible.

I am extremely passionate about person-centered approach to care, and active support; I understand the value of adapting the ways we work to empower and enrich the lives of the Individuals we support. I have a positive ‘can do’ attitude which hopefully, rubs off on those around me! I pride myself on having good communicational skills and being a “Team Player”.

I have worked in the Health and Social Care Sector for several years; most of my career has been working with Learning Disabilities and I have seen many positive changes in that time. I have a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care; I am looking forward to increasing my knowledge base by gaining further qualifications. As a manager, I relish the opportunity to pass on my skills and knowledge to those we support, as well as the support staff that I manage.
