A vacancy has arisen for a Service Manager for Supported Living and Domiciliary Care Manager.

The Service Manager will provide a structure where the service is in a position to develop in line with our values embracing the opportunity of enabling the individuals we support to an independent and valued lifestyle promoting their individual aspirations.

The post holder will be responsible for consistent implementation and maintenance of the Fundamental Standards and associated regulations across the Registered Domiciliary Care Service including, Care Standards Act 2000, Health and Social Care Act 2008, Care Act 2014, department of Work and Pensions benefits system.

Salary: £35,000 rising to £36,000 after 12 months of commencement of post.

Requirements

Essential Qualifications / Criteria
– Relevant Professional qualification e.g., Registered Nurse with a current NMC registration or Registered Social Worker with a minimum of 2 years post registration experience.
AND / OR
– Diploma Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Leadership and Management) or Registered Managers Award and NVQ Level 4 in Care.
– Minimum of  2 years experience in a Managerial Post within a Supported Living / Domiciliary Care environment preferably working with Learning Disabilities.
– Knowledge of the Health and Social Care Act 2008 and Care Act 2014.
– Understanding of the Skills for Care Certificate.
– Knowledge of Department of Work and Pensions system.
– Excellent written and organisational skills.
– Good understanding of financing and budgeting controls.
– Proficient in the operation of Office 365 and ability to operate service specific software.
– Full UK driving licence.
